Founded in 1981, Soroc Technology started off as a manufacturer of “Dumb Terminals” and created one of the first versions of the touch-screen PoS terminal for a large fast food restaurant chain. As technology progressed in the late 1980’s Soroc found its place as a Valued Added Reseller (VAR) of major Information Technology Equipment manufacturers. By the mid 1990’s Soroc expanded its service offerings around the resale of equipment to include Deployment Services, Project Management, Help Desk Services, On-Site Support & Maintenance Services. By the turn of the century, Soroc had reinvented themselves as an End-to-End IT Service and Solution provider, adding IT Recruitment, Professional Services, Business Continuity, Hosting, and Disaster Recovery Services to the VAR/Systems Integrator and Lifecycle Management Service offerings.
